Your Rights to Generated Content
For original content generated from your own prompts and materials, RapLyrics grants you the usage rights described in your plan, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
AI Cover Generation Safety Rules
AI covers allow users to remake music styles. However, using copyrighted material introduces legal liabilities:
Commercial Licensing Rules
Paid plans (including both monthly subscriptions and one-time credit packs) include a Commercial Use License for eligible generated outputs created from your own prompts or properly licensed materials. This allows you to:
- Distribute and monetize tracks on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.).
- Incorporate generated audio into commercial video production, podcasts, advertising, and video games.
- Sell or license the generated output compositions to other creators.
Free-tier lyric drafts can be used for personal creative inspiration and non-commercial preview purposes only.
Evolving AI Copyright Legal Status
Please note that global copyright offices (including the US Copyright Office) handle AI authorship differently depending on jurisdiction.
